A workshop entitled “A Better English language class”

On Wednesday, October 16th, a workshop entitled “A Better English language class” was conducted by the Teachers from the department of English in Sharazwr Educational Directorate, for the English primary teachers in Sharazwr Educational Directorate. The workshop was about how to improve their teaching skills and develop the learning environment in the classes of English language.

The topics of the workshop were: Theories of Teaching by Mr. Karzan “  he explained some theories and teaching methods for the teachers”; Techniques of Teaching by Mr. Awder who explained some teaching techniques and told them how to apply them in classes; Teacher-student Interaction by Ms. Kizhan who focused on some instructions how to develop interaction with the students and how to use gaming in classes; Class Management by Mr. Kochar who explained how to manage big-sized classes and how to control misbehaved students; and lastly, Planning and Time Management by Mr. Ranjdar who gave them some tips about organizing their time and how to use their class time effectively. About 90 teachers participated in the workshop. The workshop was about 3 and a half hours
