A seminar on Enhancing the English Language through Movies and Books

A seminar was held by Hanar Azad, Lanya Azad, Sonya Majed, students from the English department under the supervision of their lecturer Ms. Heero M. Rashasoor. The seminar was entitled “Enhancing the English Language through Movies and Books”

In brief, the students illustrated how the English Language is essential around the world. They shed light on using different methods for improving the English language, its enhancement through watching movies and reading books. They also explained the results of a survey conducted in KUST about students’ perception of using movies or books to advance their languages.

The students have suggested opening a book club for the KUST students as a voluntary activity to improve their academic English.
