Karzan Aziz Mahmood

Karzan Aziz Mahmood obtained a BA in ‘English Literature and Language’ from the University of Sulaimani (2011 – Iraq), an MA in ‘English Literature’ from Swansea University (2014 – UK), and a Ph.D. in ‘English Literature and Creative Translation’ at Jaume I University (2019- Spain). He has taught English literature, criticism, creative writing, translation, and English language at Komar University of Science and Technology since 2016. Simultaneously, he is the director of the Centre of Intensive English Program at the same university. He is an English-Kurdish, Kurdish-English translator and writer of eight books and hundreds of essays and articles in literature, philosophy, and political economy. His research interests include Romantic sublime, intertextuality, adaptation, translation studies, literary theory and criticism, Marxism, and postmodern studies.
